BIOGRAPHY
Warren G is an American musical artist, known for being one of the pioneers of hip-hop on the West Coast of the United States. Born on November 10, 1970 in Long Beach, California, his full name is Warren Griffin III. He began his music career collaborating with his childhood friends Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg, and they formed the group 213 together.
He gained considerable recognition in 1994 with the release of his first solo album "Regulate... G Funk Era", which was a huge commercial success and charted in the top 10 of the US charts. The album featured the hit "Regulate", which became a hip-hop classic.
Beyond his solo career, Warren G has also produced music for other artists, including his half-brother Dr. Dre. He contributed to the creation of the distinctive sound of G-Funk, a subgenre of hip-hop that blends elements of funk with rap beats.
Warren G continued to produce music throughout the 1990s and 2000s, although none of his later projects reached the same level of success as his first album. Nevertheless, he remains a respected and influential figure in the world of hip-hop.
