BIOGRAPHY
Victor Garde is a French musical artist born in 1892. He studied composition with Charles-Valentin Alkan and Paul Dukas, and was influenced by the French impressionists. Garde composed music for piano, orchestra, choir, and chamber ensembles. His most well-known works include "Fantasy Pieces" for piano (1922), the Symphony in G Major (1928) and the String Quartet in G minor (1935).
